With all of the breast augmentation options available, added to the diversity of body types and variety of aesthetic goals of our patients, no two breast augmentation procedures are the same. Each surgery is different from another, and each individual’s recovery time will differ depending on several different factors that Dr. Foster will prepare you for. This being said, some general expectations can be had by all prospective breast augmentation patients.
Some bruising and swelling can occur. Pain medication will be prescribed to help alleviate any discomfort you may experience in the few days following surgery. Be sure to contact Dr. Foster immediately if you notice any unusual or excessive swelling, or pain.
Implants can take several weeks or months to settle into their final position. Subpectoral implants tend to take longer to settle. This can cause a certain amount of anxiety, but rest assured that this is common to all breast augmentation patients.
If you live in the Waterbury, Connecticut area and wish to enhance your physique with a breast augmentation, or if you have any further questions about the procedure, please contact Dr. Foster today.
