Every patient is different with their cosmetic concerns. Dr. Foster will listen to you and work with you to obtain the result you are looking for.

The trend in facial rejuvenation is to restore volume with fillers and to do minimal techniques with lasers to tighten the skin. Dr Foster has extensive experience with fillers, and BOTOX ®. He has the cynosure Affirm laser in the office for facial skin tightening. This laser does an excellent job with not only the face but also with the neck skin and tightening stretch marks.

Some patients need a little more. Still patients want little down time and the best result possible. Dr. Foster uses the MACS lift and S Lift procedures for patients who need more of a lift for rejuvenation. The incision for these procedures is usually only in front of the ear, the short scar face lift.

Traditional Face lift techniques are used for patients who need a more extended lift. These procedures are a SMAS or extended SMAS facelift, Smasectomy, or SMAS plication. Recovery for these procedures is generally one to two weeks.

At times the neck may need to be addressed with the facelift, especially if there is banding of the neck muscle, a large fat pad, or just too much loose skin in the neck.

To achieve a more harmonious result, blepharoplasty, fat grafting, forehead lift or skin treatments may be done during the procedure.

Patients are followed closely following facial surgery. You may need a drain at the time of surgery. Dressings depend on the extent of the procedure and the goals of the procedure.
